Our story

StreetGains was born out of something very simple: a pure love for the sport. We were fascinated by videos of athletes performing moves that seemed almost impossible, like the muscle-up, the front lever, and the human flag. We just had to try them ourselves. Training outdoors with friends, using only our own body weight, immediately felt like freedom. Every small step forward gave us a huge rush: the first tight pull-up, the first bit of a handstand, the first real muscle-up. Soon, calisthenics became more than a hobby. It became a passion that occupied us every day. But finding good equipment turned out to be impossible. Resistance bands were hard to come by, and we made our own parallettes out of PVC pipes because there wasn’t a single store that truly specialized in calisthenics. That’s where our idea was born. If the perfect place for calisthenics gear didn’t exist, then we had to build it ourselves. Driven by passion, necessity, and the desire to give athletes what we ourselves were missing: equipment that motivates, challenges, and enables progress. That is still our goal. To help you grow. What began in 2016 as a small, passionate startup has grown over the past nine years into a specialized brand that supports athletes across Europe. In 2018, we launched our first full product line, including our iconic weighted vests and high-quality pull-up bars. From there, things moved quickly: we expanded our focus from the Dutch and Belgian markets to the rest of Europe, so that international athletes could also benefit from high-quality calisthenics equipment. To accommodate this growth and increase our capacity, we moved to a larger warehouse in 2020. Our products found their way to unique clients and projects: weight vests for the fire department, pull-up bars for the police, rings as decor in a luxury gym in New Jersey, and even equipment for a major project in the United Arab Emirates. The adventure continues to grow every day, and that motivates us to keep developing, improving, and innovating.
